For the rest of the season I’ll be doing my best to get a brief river report out on Tuesdays and Fridays!

Both the Catskills and Hudson Valley saw some rain – more so in the Catskills. Hudson Valley streams are up a bit, but fishable. If you’re fishing the Catskills the Esopus, Neversink, or Willowemoc are are the best options for wading.

Hatches: Hendricksons, Stonefly, Olives, Blue Quills, Quill Gordon’s, Caddis

River flows:

Wappinger Creek – 444cfs @ Red Oaks Mill

East Branch of the Croton – 217cfs @ Brewster

West Branch of the Croton – 274cfs @ Croton Falls

Esopus Creek – 548cfs @ Cold Brook

West Branch of the Delaware – 2240cfs @ Hale Eddy

East Branch of the Delaware – 672cfs @ Downsville
