Well, it’s safe to say that we are in the heat of summer and trout fishing gets tougher here in the Catskills! Water temperature rises and some waters are only fishable early morning, if at all. Don’t be afraid to explore some new territory – head to the West Branch of the Delaware, bass fish a pond, or head to small water and find some brookies! Remember, over 68 degrees trout get stressed out and that’s our time to leave them be.
Headed to the West Branch tomorrow and Friday. Guiding a half day Saturday morning. Will report back
